We’ve been coming to the pavilion in llanfairfechan for at least 3 years. It’s an absolutely lovely place set right by the seas edge on a sweeping promenade where you can imagine Victorian people would be enjoying the fresh air. The building of the pavilion is a wooden, of its time, piece of architecture with loads and loads of atmosphere with wooden floors. It has two levels you can go upstairs and overlook the main café, during the summer you can buy ice creams and buckets and spades as well as the menu of hot freshly made delicious meals from the counter. All the classics that people love fish and chips burgers. They also do a delicious chilli and chips which is our favourite all the usual are on their egg and chips sausage chips. It’s just good no nonsense food that you want at the seaside when you’ve been in the sea. There’s loads of room there’s always, helpful staff and music playing so it’s a very chilled out atmosphere there’s panoramic views of the Menai straits, puffin island and Anglesey, and it’s the kind of place that you can really lose yourself in and rub shoulders with many different types of people, campervaners windsurfers, cyclists, it attracts everybody. The atmosphere at pavilion really does lend itself to many different things. It’s definitely the kind of place you can imagine getting married because it’s such a atmosphere and setting with it wooden floors and white framed windows that lean towards the sea to absorb the wind and rain on those days when it’s stormy. Once you’ve come to the pavilion it’s a place that you want to return to again and again and it’s definitely our favourite.

Lived in Llanfairfechan for a few years, but left to return to Manchester in 2018, the Beach Pavilion was always my favourite place to get a snack or a coffee or hot chocolate and I spent many happy times there, I'd be in there very day, pretty much when I lived there. Recently visited the village again and spent a large part of the weekend in the Beach Pavilion. Although it seems to have changed hands, mostly it was unchanged, which was very welcome to me after so much water under the bridge, like going back in time to a different point in my life (Llanfairfechan feels very safe and unchanging to me in a changing world which is part of why I've always loved the place, coming from a big city). Even still had the buzzers which buzz when your food is ready (though it was little numbers before that innovation!) and the chilled out upstairs section with people just being chilled and having some grub by the sea. Of course the lovely views and location is part of its eternal charm for me. I was well fed with the Welsh Quiche and chips on Saturday and the all day vegetarian breakfast on Sunday, not to mention my staple of coffees first thing and hot chocolate with cream later - delicious. Young staff always pleasant to me and serve with a smile, thank you all. Read some bad reviews recently but this will always remain one of my happy places and I hope to be back later in the year. Hope they still do the Halloween display, I'll be stopping by in October - just one gripe, my staple snack used to be cheese on toast but couldn't see it on the menu any more - it was the first thing I ever had in the cafe, about 2014, bringing that back would make it perfect but you can't have everything. I felt quite at home again, even though I am no longer a local. Thanks for some lovely memories this weekend! I have had some health problems in recent times and visiting put a smile back on my face for a few days.

What a gem! Huge portions of freshly cooked food. Service was quick and prices were amazing. I had the special which was chicken curry, chips and mango chutney for £7.95. large chunks of chicken in a home made sauce..it was delicious! Highly recommend

Premises require a revamp-- looking quite tired and dingy now. Food average-- but coffee-- ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS- the best I have tasted yet!!. A great business though, in the right place and plenty of customers. Beautiful part of the Welsh coast.
